RESOLUTION NO. 2012-168
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY REILLY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. OF
OSSIAN, IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y.
2011 HIGHWAY 63 SOUTH MANHOLE REHABILITATION,
CONTRACT NO. 809, ACCEPTING THE WORK, AND
RELEASING THE $5,183.50 RETAINAGE.
WHEREAS, Reilly Construction Company, Inc. of Ossian, Iowa,
has under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, furnished
certain materials and performed labor at a total cost of
$103,670.00 in conjunction with the F.Y. 2011 Highway 63 South
Manhole Rehabilitation, Contract No. 809, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of
Acceptance be and the same hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the retainage of $5,183.50 for the project
be hereby released.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2012.
