RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON THE PROPOSED LEASE
PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH WATERLOO DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING A
MULTI -USE RECREATIONAL AND ATHLETIC FACILITY
COMPLEX TO BE KNOWN AS THE CEDAR VALLEY
SPORTSPLEX, AS APRIL 16, 2012, AT 5:30 P.M.
IN THE CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th day of April, 2012, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon the proposed Lease
Purchase Agreement with Waterloo Development Corporation for the
purpose of acquiring a multi -use recreational and athletic
facility complex to be known as the Cedar Valley SportsPlex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 2012.
