RESOLUTION NO. 2019-160
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FROM ALEX SEAVEY,
EVENT MANAGER OF ALL COMMUNITY EVENTS, TO HOLD ITS
THANKSGIVING DAY TURKEY TROT 5K RUN EVENT ON
NOVEMBER 28, 2019 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 10:00 A.M., TRAVELING
THROUGH CITY STREETS AND BIKE TRAILS,
INCLUDING STREET CLOSURES.
WHEREAS, Alex Seavey, Event Manager of All Community Events has made a written
application to the City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to hold its
Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K run event on November 28, 2019, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the route traveling
through city streets and bike trails, including street closures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Alex Seavey, Event Manager of All Community
Events, to hold its Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K run event on November 28, 2019 from
8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., traveling through city streets and bike trails, including street closures, is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of March 2019.
