RESOLUTION NO. 2019-194
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO B &
B LAWN CARE INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR OPTION A
$1,147.50 PER OCCURRENCE, OPTION B $1,095.50 PER
OCCURRENCE, AND APPROVING THE BONDS AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE 2019 COMPLAINT MOWING WITH COMPLAINT SNOW
REMOVAL CONTRACT, AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,147.50 per occurrence, Option A and $1,095.50 per occurrence, Option B, and is the apparent
low bidder, in conjunction with the 2019 Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal
Contract, and
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc. submitted a written contract, per the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2019-169, after public
hearing on March 25, 2019, in conjunction with the 2019 Complaint Mowing with Complaint
Snow Removal Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of B & B Lawn Care, Inc., in the amount of $1,147.50 per
occurrence, Option A and $1,095.50 per occurrence, Option B, in conjunction with the 2019
Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal Contract, is hereby awarded.
2. That the contract, bond, and certificate of insurance submitted by to B & B Lawn
Care, Inc., in conjunction with the 2019 Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal
Contract, are hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1St day of April 2019.
