RESOLUTION NO. 2019-215
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASBESTOS ABATEMENT
SERVICES AT: 1420 COMMERCIAL STREET, 1422
COMMERCIAL STREET, 1426 COMMERCIAL STREET, 1430
COMMERCIAL STREET, 1211 SYCAMORE STREET, 328 W.
14TH STREET, 419 LANE STREET, 536 DAWSON STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with the asbestos abatement services at 1420
Commercial Street, 1422 Commercial Street, 1426 Commercial Street, 1430 Commercial Street,
1211 Sycamore Street, 328 W. 14th Street, 419 Lane Street, 536 Dawson Street, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction with the asbestos abatement services at 1420
Commercial Street, 1422 Commercial Street, 1426 Commercial Street, 1430 Commercial Street,
1211 Sycamore Street, 328 W. 14th Street, 419 Lane Street, 536 Dawson Street, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 8, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the a
asbestos abatement services at 1420 Commercial Street, 1422 Commercial Street, 1426
Commercial Street, 1430 Commercial Street, 1211 Sycamore Street, 328 W. 14th Street, 419
Lane Street, 536 Dawson Street, are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of April 2019.
