FY 2019 DUBUQUE ROAD OVER BLOWERS CREEK BRIDGE REPAIRS
CITY CONTRACT NO. 959
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1
WHEREAS, a Professional Services Agreement was entered into between the City of Waterloo,
Iowa (Client), and AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (ATS) of Waterloo, Iowa, dated May 21, 2018,
for investigation, final design and construction plan preparation for repairs to the eastbound Dubuque
Road Bridge over Blowers Creek (Bridge No. 23), the westbound Dubuque Road Bridge over Blowers
Creek (Bridge No. 24) and the Greenhill Road Bridge over Trolley Trail (Bridge No. 61) for the City of
Waterloo, Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the Client and ATS now desire to enter into Supplemental Agreement No. 1 for
construction -related services on City Contract No. 959.
NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed to amend the original Professional Services Agreement as
follows:
Project Description
This project includes repairs to the eastbound Dubuque Road Bridge over Blowers Creek
(Bridge No. 23), the westbound Dubuque Road Bridge over Blowers Creek (Bridge No. 24)
and the Greenhill Road Bridge over Trolley Trail (Bridge No. 61).
II. Scope of Services
The Scope of Services for the project will include limited constructed -related services
assistance to the City. The City will be performing project inspection services. The Scope of
Services for the project is further defined by the following tasks:
Task 1. Shop Drawing Review
Task 2. Respond to RFIs and Answer Questions
III. Compensation
Compensation for the above services will be on an hourly basis in accordance with Part VI
of the original agreement and shall be segregated from the fees in the original agreement.
The estimated fee is Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($9,900.00).
IV. In all other respects, the obligations of the Client and ATS shall remain as specified in the
Professional Services Agreement dated May 21, 2018
