RESOLUTION NO. 2019-306
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
THE DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 23, 2019 AND DATE
OF PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 28, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH DEMOLITION SERVICES AT: 1107 COMMERCIAL
STREET, 919-925 COMMERCIAL STREET, 613 W. 7TH
STREET, AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with demolition services at: 1107 Commercial Street, 919-925 Commercial Street, 613 W. 7th
Street, be approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with demolition services at: 1107
Commercial Street, 919-925 Commercial Street, 613 W. 7th Street, be scheduled for May 23,
2019 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of May 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon demolition services at: 1107 Commercial Street,
919-925 Commercial Street, 613 W. 7th Street.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2019.
