RESOLUTION NO. 2019-308
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 23, 2019 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS MAY 28, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH FY 2019 DYSART ROAD AND W. 2ND STREET
RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. 970, AND
INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with FY 2019 Dysart Road and W. 2nd Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 970, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with FY 2019 Dysart Road and W. 2nd
Street Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 970, be scheduled for May 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of May 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the FY 2019 Dysart Road and W. 2nd Street
Reconstruction Program, Contract No. 970.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
