RESOLUTION NO. 2019-309
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS MAY 30, 2019 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS JUNE 3, 2019, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE FY 2019 JEFFERSON AND COMMERCIAL
STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT NO. 976,
AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. in conjunction
with the FY 2019 Jefferson and Commercial Streetscape Improvements, Contract No. 976, be
approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening in conjunction with the FY 2019 Jefferson and
Commercial Streetscape Improvements, Contract No. 976, be scheduled for May 30, 2019 at
1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of June 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the FY 2019 Jefferson and Commercial
Streetscape Improvements, Contract No. 976.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing and bid opening in the Waterloo Courier.
