RESOLUTION NO. 2019-325
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO B & B LAWN CARE, INC.
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, OPTION C: $95.75/PER HR., OPTION
D: $165.00/PER ACRE (FIVE (5) ACRES OR LARGER), AND
OPTION E: $95.75/PER HR., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
FY 2020 COMPLAINT MOWING WITH COMPLAINT SNOW
REMOVAL CONTRACT AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE, AND
AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, submitted a bid as follows:
Option C: $95.75/per hr., Option D: $165.00/per acre (five (5) acres or larger), and Option E:
$95.75/per hr., in conjunction with the FY 2020 Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow
Removal Contract, and
WHEREAS, B & B Lawn Care, Inc. submitted a written contract, bond and certificate of
insurance per the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with
Resolution No. 2019-323, after public hearing on May 6, 2019, in conjunction with the FY 2020
Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA
1. That the bid of B & B Lawn Care, Inc., Option C: $95.75/per hr., Option D:
$165.00/per acre (five (5) acres or larger), and Option E: $95.75/per hr., in conjunction with the
Complaint Snow Removal Contract, is hereby accepted.
2. That the contract, bond and certificate of insurance submitted by B & B Lawn
Care, Inc. in conjunction with the FY 2020 Complaint Mowing with Complaint Snow Removal
Contract, are hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May 2019.
