AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SUBSECTION A, FEES,
OF SECTION 9-2A-12, SERVICES, OF ARTICLE A,
FIRE PREVENTION INSPECTIONS, OF CHAPTER 2,
FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION, OF TITLE 9,
BUILDING REGULATIONS, OF THE 2001 CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA;
AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW
SUBSECTION A, FEES, OF SECTION 9-2A-12 ,
SERVICES, OF ARTICLE A, FIRE PREVENTION
INSPECTIONS, OF CHAPTER 2, FIRE PREVENTION
AND PROTECTION, OF TITLE 9, BUILDING
REGULATIONS, OF THE 2001 CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA:
That Subsection A, Fees, of Section 9-2A-12, Services, of
Article A, Fire Prevention Inspections, of Chapter 2, Fire
Prevention and Protection, of Title 9, Building Regulations, of
the 2001 Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is
hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection A, Fees,
of Section 9-2A-12, Services, of Article A, Fire Prevention
Inspections, of Chapter 2 , Fire Prevention and Protection, of
Title 9, Building Regulations, of the 2001 Code of Ordinances of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows :
9-2A-12 : Services :
A. Fees : Fee
Fire standpipe testing $150 . 00
Lock Box:
Small $ 5 . 00
Large $ 10 . 00
Fire Watch, per hour $ 75 . 00
Fire Investigations, per man hour $ 35 . 00
Special events, life safety inspection
to ensure public safety, per inspection hour $ 35 . 00
Reimbursement for extinguishment cost for intentionally
set fires through the court system or fire response to a
commercial, industrial, business retail and commercial
rental property
Engine company response, 1st hour,
per engine $200 . 00
