ORDINANCE NO. 4827
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 111 TO
SECTION 2A-7N, CONDITIONAL ZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 110,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. One Hundred Eleven
(111) .
"111 .
Liberty Addition Lots 1 to 10 in Block 2 and vacated
Alley Block 2 except that part deeded to the City of
Waterloo and recorded in Book 572 Page 929, North 45
feet of East 161 . 2 feet of vacated Bourland Avenue
between W. 8th Street and W. 9th Street and Easement B
572 P 929, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District and "C-1" Commercial District, be
and the same is hereby zoned as "C-1, C-Z" Conditional Commercial
District as above described, subject to the following conditions :
1 . That further information is provided to staff regarding
the amount of gross floor retail space to ensure that
the overall site has adequate parking for the entire
square footage of commercial development;
2 . That the area of previously vacated Bourland Avenue is
hard surfaced, as it is currently being used for
vehicular use area, in accordance with applicable
regulations . "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa .
