ORDINANCE NO. 4834
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 384 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 383 ,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred
Eighty Four (384) .

"A-1" to "R-4"
Part of the Southwest 1/ Section 2-88-13 .
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Tract A of South
Ridge Terrace Addition to Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
Thence South along the projected East line of said
Tract A to a point 271 . 0 feet perpendicular to the
Northwesterly line of Schukei Commercial Park,
Waterloo, Iowa, and the Point of Beginning;
Thence continuing South along the projected East line
to a point 60 . 0 feet perpendicular to the Northeasterly
line of Schukei Commercial Park Addition;
Thence Southwesterly, parallel to said Northwesterly
line to the Northeasterly right-of-way line of Schukei
Road;
Thence Northerly along said Northeasterly right-of-way
line to a point 271 . 0 feet perpendicular to the
Northwesterly line of Schukei Commercial Park Addition;
Thence Northeasterly, parallel to said Northwesterly
line to the Point of Beginning, containing
approximately 2 . 17 acres .
AND
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 7 , Richland
Park Addition, Waterloo, Iowa;
Thence Westerly 40 . 58 feet along the Northerly line of
said Lot 7;
Thence Northerly to a point 271 . 0 feet perpendicular to
the Northwesterly line of Schukei Commercial Park
Addition;
Thence Northeasterly parallel to said Northwesterly
line to the Westerly right-of-way of Schukei Road;
Thence Southerly along said Westerly right-of-way to
the North line of the South 40 acres of the North
Southwest 1/ Section 2 , Township 88 North, Range 13

the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

Commencing at a point on the West line of the Northwest
Fractional Quarter of Section 2, Township 88 North,
Range 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian on the
South line extended Westerly of South Ridge Terrace
Second Addition to Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
Thence East 290 . 0 feet along said extension and the

now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District and "R-2" One and Two Family Residence
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-4" Multiple
Residence District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
