ORDINANCE NO. 4835
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE
SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY GENERALLY LOCATED
ALONG SAN MARNAN DRIVE FROM ANSBOROUGH AVENUE
WEST TO GALACTIC DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows :
That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section Eight
(8) , Township Eighty-eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen
West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Parcel "B" , Misc.
Book 316, Page 657 of the Black Hawk County Recorder' s
Office; thence N00°19' 55"W Seventeen and Sixty-nine
Hundredths (17 . 69) feet along the Northerly extension
of the East line of said Parcel "B" ; thence N87°02' 56"E
Three Hundred Sixty-five and Thirty-nine Hundredths
(365 . 39) feet; thence N88°17' 25"E Three Hundred Fifty-
three and Sixty-four Hundredths (353 . 64) feet to a
point on the Northwesterly extension of the present
West Right-of-Way line of Ansborough Avenue; thence
S41°03 ' 15"E Five and Ninety-two Hundredths (5 . 92) feet
along said Northwesterly extension to the South Right-
of-Way line of San Marnan Drive; thence S86°37' 30"W
Seven Hundred Twenty-three and Forty-three Hundredths
(723 .43) feet along said South Right-of-Way line to the
point of beginning containing 9452 square feet, subject
to the city' s retention of a utility easement over,
under and above the above described property, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to the
retention of an easement for utility purposes over, under and
above the described parcel .
