ORDINANCE NO. 4840
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 386 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 385,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred
Eighty Six (386) .
"386.
All Southeasterly of new Highway 63 & Railroad South =�
Northwest except that part taken for Highway purposes
Book 539 Page 535 & except that part of above described
lying within the following commencing at Northeast
corner Northwest 1/ thence South 1023 . 8 feet along East
line of Northwest 141 to point of beginning thence South
35 Degrees 28 Minutes West 448 . 3 feet thence South 54
Degrees 32 Minutes East to East line Northwest 141 thence
North along East line Northwest 1,1 to point of beginning
Section 7 Township 88 Range 13;
And
East of Railroad North 1 North Southwest except
Highway Section 7 Township 8 Range 13;
And
All Easterly & Southerly of new Highway 63 & Railroad
in Northeast Northwest Section 7 Township 88 Range 13
except that part Northeast Northwest lying within the
following description beginning at a point on East line
said Northwest 1/ which is 258 feet South of Northeast
corner said Northwest 1/ thence South 763 . 26 feet thence
South 35 Degrees 06 Minutes 15 Seconds West 446. 68 feet
thence North 55 Degrees 10 Minutes 50 Seconds West
574 . 09 feet to the Southeasterly right-of-way line US
Highway 63 thence North 35 Degrees 10 Minutes 25
Seconds East 903 . 38 feet along said right-of-way line
thence North 72 Degrees 55 Minutes 15 Seconds East
along said right-of-way line 212 . 64 feet (previously
described as 212 . 3 feet by Iowa Department of
Transportation) to the point of beginning and except
that part described as commencing at Northeast corner

now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "B-P"
Business Park District as above described. "

Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
