ORDINANCE NO. 4714
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 TRAFFIC CODE
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (9) CEDAR BEND AND
(45) LONGFELLOW OF SECTION 541, INCREASING
SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTIONS (9) CEDAR
BEND AND (45) LONGFELLOW OF SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsections (9) Cedar Bend and (45) Longfellow of
Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
2003 Traffic Code, are hereby repealed in their entirety; that
new Subsections (9) Cedar Bend and (45) Longfellow of Section
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2003
Traffic Code, are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
(9) Cedar Bend
from Broadway Street to Walker Street 35 mph
from Walker Street to West Parker Street 25 mph
(45) Longfellow
from West Parker Street to Walker Street 25 mph
from Walker Street to Broadway Street 30 mph
