ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 366 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 365,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred Sixty
Six (366) .

191 West 5th Street
Lots Nos. 1, 2 , 3 , 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and
14 , and the Southwesterly 40 feet in even width of Lot
No. 15 all in Auditor' s Plat of Cascaden and Ballou
Subdivision of Lots 26, 27 and the Northwesterly 40
feet of Lot 28 fractional Block 6 original plat West
Waterloo;
And
All that part of Lots Nos . 28, 29 and 30 in fractional
Block No. 6 in the original plat on the West side of
the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, and of the unplatted land adjoining said
lots lying Northeasterly of the Riverfront Improvement
Commission line as established, bounded as follows :
Beginning at the Westerly corner of the Southeasterly
20 feet of said Lot No. 28; thence Northeasterly along
the Northwesterly line of said Southeasterly 20 feet
and the extension of said Northwesterly line, a
distance of 252 . 67 feet; thence Southeasterly parallel
with the Southwesterly lines of said Lots Nos . 28, 29
and 30, to the extended Southeasterly line of the
Northwesterly 43 feet of said Lot No. 30; thence
Southwesterly along said extended Southeasterly line a

Lot No. 6 in Block No. 9, in the original plat, on the
West side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa; and the Northwesterly 40 feet of Lot No. 8; and
Lot No. 7, except the Southeasterly 30 feet of the
Southwesterly 80 feet of said Lot No. 7, all in Block
No. 9, in the original plat on the West side of the
Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk

plat, on the West side of the Cedar River, in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
And also;
226 West 5th Street
The Southeasterly twenty-five (25) feet of the
Southwesterly ninety (90) feet of Lot No. Seven (7) and
all of Lots Nos . Eight (8) , Nine (9) and Ten (10) in
Block No. Eight (8) in the original plat, on the West
side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "C-3" Central
Business District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-P"
Planned Commercial District as above described.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
