ORDINANCE NO. 4745
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 370 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 369,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred
Seventy (370) .
"370 .
A parcel of land located in the Northwest of Section
19-89-12, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows :
Beginning at the intersection of the North right-of-way
line of Willow Street and the West right-of-way line of
Idaho Street; thence West along the North right-of-way
line of Willow Street a distance of 852 . 50 feet; thence
North parallel with the East line of the Northwest 11 of
said Section 19 a distance of 844 . 05 feet more or less
to the Southwesterly right-of-way line of the Chicago
Central Railroad; thence Southeasterly along the
Southwesterly railroad right-of-way line to its
intersection with the West right-of-way line of Idaho
Street; thence South along the West right-of-way line
of Idaho Street to the point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residential District, be and the same is hereby zoned
as "R-3, R-P" Planned Multifamily Residential District as above
described.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
