ORDINANCE NO. 4789
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 TRAFFIC CODE:
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (106) EIGHTH STREET
(W) OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL
TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION (106) EIGHTH STREET (W)
OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL
TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND
BY ADDING SUBSECTION (8a) EIGHTH STREET (W) OF
SECTION 579, NO PARKING ANY TIME EXCEPT
SUNDAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (106) Eighth Street (W) of Section 551,
Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the 2003
Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new
Subsection (106) Eighth Street (W) of Section 551, Parking
Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the 2003 Traffic
Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
(106) Eighth Street (W) West and northwest sides from
Commercial Street to Byron
Avenue; southeast side from
Commercial Street to Jefferson
Street
That Subsection (8a) Eighth Street (W) of Section 579, No
Parking Any Time Except Sunday, of the 2003 Traffic Code, is hereby
added as follows :
(8a) Eighth Street (W) Southeast side from Jefferson
Street to Washington Street

PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: November 21, 2005
PASSED 3rd CONSIDERATION: November 21, 2005
