ORDINANCE NO. 4795
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, THE CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING
ORDINANCE ADOPTED FEBRUARY 3, 1969, BY:
REPEALING SECTION 2A-5, DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
AND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, OF PART IV,
DISTRICT AND BOUNDARIES; AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 2A-5, DISTRICT
BOUNDARIES AND OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, OF PART
IV, DISTRICT AND BOUNDARIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, is amended as set out herein, repealing those sections
that the minutes indicate are being replaced and setting forth
the amendment or replacement sections, and further amending the
Ordinance by adding amendments as set out herein. Said
Ordinance, as amended, shall apply to all lands lying within the
corporate limits of the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its final passage and publication as provided by law.
That Section 2A-5, District Boundaries and Official Zoning
Maps, of Part IV, District and Boundaries, of the Waterloo
Zoning Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Section 2A-5, District Boundaries and
Official Zoning Maps, of Part IV, District and Boundaries, of
the Waterloo Zoning Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
With the exception of the Flood Plain (Overlay) Districts,
the boundaries of these districts are indicated upon the Digital
Official Zoning Map of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, which the
said map is made a part of this Ordinance . The said Digital
Official Zoning Map of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and all the
notations, references and other matters shown thereon shall be
as much as a part of this Ordinance as if the notations,
references and other matters set forth by said map were all
fully described herein. The said Digital Official Zoning Map is
on file in the office of the City Planner, at the City Hall of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and shall bear the signature of the
Mayor attested by the City Clerk, under the certification that
this is the official Zoning Map referred to in this Section of
the Zoning Ordinance. The Digital Official Zoning Map shall
show all amendments or changes and shall indicate the date of
each amendment or change. It shall be the responsibility of the
City Planner to see that the Zoning Map is kept current at all
times .
This Ordinance rescinds the current Official Zoning Map of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and all amendments thereto, adopted
as part of the Waterloo Zoning Ordinance No. 2479, as amended,
and enacts in lieu thereof a new Digital Official Zoning Map of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
