NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AND NOTICE TO BIDDERS
for the taking of Request for Proposals for
FOR DEMOLITION SERVICES AT
1107 COMMERCIAL STREET,
919-925 COMMERCIAL STREET,
613 W. 7TH STREET
CONTRACT NO. 2019-05-03P
Sealed bids must be received by the City
Clerk of the City of Waterloo at City Hall,
715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa
50703 no later than Thursday, May 23,
2019 at 1:00 p.m., at which time bids will
be opened in the First Floor Conference
Room at City Hall, in conjunction with the
demolition services at 1107 Commercial
Street, 919-925 Commercial Street, 613
W. 7th Street.
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa will conduct a
public hearing on the request to approve
preliminary plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. for demolition services at
1107 Commercial Street, 919-925 Com-
mercial Street, 613 W. 7th Street, at 5:30
p.m. on May 28, 2019, in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers in the City Hall
in the City of Waterloo, Iowa. The
proposed request for proposal document,
plans, specifications, form of contract, etc.
is on file in the Planning & Zoning office
for public examination. A request for
proposal document, plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc. may be obtained
from the Planning and Zoning Office, 715
Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa, 50703.
Anyone who is interested may appear at
said time and place and be heard or may
file written objection with the City Clerk,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, before the date
set for said hearing.
