ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. THREE
HUNDRED THIRTY SIX TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No . 335,
of said Section, the following Subsection No . Three Hundred
Thirty Six (336) .

Parcel 1
The West 323 feet of the North 6 rods of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section No. 2 ,
Township 88 North, Range No. 13 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa; except the South 45 feet thereof; and the
East 164 feet of the West 487 feet of the North 6 rods
and the South 45 feet of the West 323 feet of the North
6 rods of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of Section No. 2 , Township No. 88 North, Range
No . 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Black
Hawk County, Iowa, except all legal highways, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.

A parcel of land located in the SW%, SW'A of Section 2-
88-13 , Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows :
Commencing at Southwest corner of said SW1/; thence
NO0°00' 00"E along the West line of said SW% a distance
of 800 . 99 feet ; thence N89°43 ' 34"E a distance of 33 . 00
feet to the East right-of-way line of Hammond Avenue;
thence N89°43 ' 34"E parallel to and 519 . 00 feet normally
distant from the South line of the South 40 acres of
the N%, SW'A of Section 2-88-13 a distance of 451 . 21
feet to the point of beginning; thence N89°43 ' 34"E a
distance of 442 . 27 feet to the Northwesterly right-of-
way line of East San Marnan Drive; thence S48°29' 41"W
along said Northwesterly right-of-way line a distance
of 332 . 61 feet; thence N41°30' 19"W a distance of 291 . 51
feet to the point of beginning. The West line of
Section 2-88-13 is assumed to bear North-South, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Said parcel contains : 48, 479 . 2 square feet; 1 . 1129
acres;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District and "R-4" Multiple Family Residence
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-2" Commercial
District as above described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
