ORDINANCE NO. 4600
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. THREE
HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN TO SECTION 2A-5,
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 336,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred
Thirty Seven (337) .
"337 .
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter (NW'% SE%) of Section Seven (7) Township Eighty-
eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the
Fifth Principal Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, described as follows : Beginning at the Northwest
corner of said Southeast Quarter (SE%) ; thence South
along the West line of said Southeast Quarter (SE 'A) ,
40 rods; thence East 121A rods; thence Northerly to a
point in the North line of said Southeast Quarter (SE
1/) , which is 12 rods East of the point of beginning;
thence West to the point of beginning;
Also, that part of the West one-half of the Southeast
Quarter (W32 SE'A) of said Section Seven (7) described as
follows : Beginning at a point Four Hundred Fifteen and
Eight Tenths (415 . 80) feet South of the North line of
said Southeast Quarter (SE%) and Two Hundred Two and
Four Tenths (202 . 40) feet East of the West line of said
Southeast Quarter (SE%) ; thence South Two Hundred
forty-seven and Two Tenths (247 . 20) feet to a point on
the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of said Southeast Quarter (NW'A NW%
SE%) which is Two Hundred Five (205) feet East of the
West line of said Southeast Quarter (SE%) ; thence
continuing South One Thousand Two Hundred Seven and
Eight Tenths (1, 207 . 80) feet to a point on an extension
of the centerline of the Waterloo and Hudson Road (now
called West Fourth Street) which is Two Hundred Twenty-
two (222) feet East of the West line of said Southeast
Quarter (SE%) ; thence Northeasterly along the
centerline of said Road One Thousand Five Hundred One
and Four Tenths (1, 501 . 40) feet; thence Northwesterly
Nine Hundred Forty-six and Eight Tenths (946 . 80) feet
to the point of beginning, except that part thereof
lying South of a line which begins One Thousand One
Hundred Eleven (1, 111) feet South of a point in the
South line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (NW'A NW'A SE'A) and Two
Hundred Five (205) feet East of the West line of said
Southeast Quarter (SE'A) and running thence East to the
centerline of said Road, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-1"
Residential District as above described. "

Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
