ORDINANCE NO. 4617
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 341 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No . 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No . 340 ,
of said Section, the following Subsection No . Three Hundred Forty
One (341) .
"341 .
A part of Lot 1, Centennial Second Addition, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 1,
which is the Westerly right-of-way line of Progress
Avenue; thence South 00°17' 11" West along said
Westerly right-of-way line and the Easterly line of
said Lot 1 a distance of 224 . 94 feet; thence North
89°26' 18" West a distance of 799 . 93 feet to the
Westerly line of said Lot 1; thence North 00°17' 11"
East along the Westerly line of said Lot 1 a distance
of 224 . 94 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1 ;
thence South 89°26' 18" East along the Northerly line
of said Lot 1 a distance of 799 . 93 feet to the point
of beginning.
The Easterly line of Lot 1 is assumed to bear South
00°17' 11" West, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-1" Residence
District and "C-2" Commercial District, be and the same is hereby
zoned as "R-1,R-P" Planned Residence District as above
described. "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
