My Waterloo Days had previously submitted a request for road closures that was
approved. Currently, the specific area of Mulberry from E 4th to E 2"d, and E 3rd from
Mulberry to Sycamore have been approved to be closed for the parade. We do not
have enough space to stage all of the entries and are looking for more roads to
use. Jessica Rucker, Executive Director of Main Street Waterloo, has spoken with the
Police Department and Fire Rescue about the need for additional street closures.
My Waterloo Days would like to add: closing 2nd St from Mulberry to Lafayette and
Lafayette from 3rd to 2nd. Only 1 side of the street on each of these roads would be
used to allow for the least amount of disruption.
Thank you for your consideration.
Jessica Rucker
