RESOLUTION NO. 2019-367
RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JUNE 3, 2019 TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY THE
DOLLAR GENERAL TO VACATE 1.47 ACRES OF CITY
RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE MARTIN
LUTHER KING, JR. DRIVE AND IDAHO STREET
INTERSECTION, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of June 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by Dollar General to
vacate approximately 1.47 acres of City Right-of-Way located northeast of the Martin Luther
King, Jr. Drive and Idaho Street Intersection.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May 2019.
