RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
JUNE 3, 2019, TO APPROVE THE REQUEST BY MMS
CONSULTANTS, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "M-
2,P" PLANNED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF 416,678 SQUARE FEET OF
WAREHOUSE, OFFICE, AND MAINTENANCE BUILDINGS
LOCATED EAST OF 1994 NEWELL STREET, AND
INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in the Harold E.
Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of June 2019,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon the request by MMS Consultants, on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, for a Site Plan Amendment to the "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District for
the construction of 416,678 square feet of warehouse, office, and maintenance buildings located
east of 1994 Newell Street.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May 2019.
