ORDINANCE NO. 4676
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 352 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 351,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred Fifty
Two (352) .
"352 .
All that part of the Northeast 1/ of the Southeast 1/ of
the Northeast 1/ lying North of the Westerly extension
of the South line of the Burton Avenue Industrial Park
(lying in the Northwest 14 of Section 11-T89N-R13W) ,
except the North 320 feet of the East 318 feet thereof,
AND
The East of the Northwest 1/ of the Southeast 4 of the
Northeast 1/,
All the above lying in Section 10, Township 89 North,
Range 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian,
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa (contains 9 acres
more or less) , all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned to "M-1"
Light Industrial District as above described, subject to the
following conditions :
1 . That the line of trees along the West boundary of
the property to be rezoned shall not be removed;
or if removed, a fence would be erected in their
place; and
2 . If a building were to be erected, said building
would not be built, at a minimum, within 50 feet
of the West boundary.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
