ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 355 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 354 ,
of said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred Fifty
Five (355) .
"355 .
Southeast 1/, Southeast 1A of Section 20—Township 89
North—Range 13 West except the East 281 . 5 feet and
except the South 30 feet in even width and except the
North 170 . 89 feet of the South 200 . 89 feet to the City
of Waterloo as described in Book 559 Page 196 .
And,
That part of the Northeast 1/ Southeast 14 of Section 20—
Township 89 North—Range 13 West bounded as follows :
Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast
1/1 Southeast 1/ of Section 20, which is 281 . 5 feet West
of the Southeast corner of said Northeast 1/ Southeast
1/; thence West along said South line 454 . 6 feet thence
North on a line parallel to the East line of said
Northeast 1/ Southeast 1/, 165 feet; thence East on a
line parallel to the South line of said Northeast 1/
Southeast %, 454 . 6 feet; thence South 165 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and
Two Family Residence District and "C-2" Commercial District, be
and the same is hereby zoned as "R-3" Multifamily Residence
District as above described.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
