RESOLUTION NO. 2019-395
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE REGULATED ASBESTOS -
CONTAINING MATERIALS DEMOLITION SERVICES AT:
1107 COMMERCIAL STREET, 919-925 COMMERCIAL
STREET, 613 W. 7TH STREET, AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Community Planning and Development Director of said city to prepare and file plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Regulated Asbestos -Containing
Materials Demolition Services at: 1107 Commercial Street, 919-925 Commercial Street, 613 W.
7th Street, and instructing City Clerk to publish notice, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director did file said plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Regulated Asbestos -Containing
Materials Demolition Services at: 1107 Commercial Street, 919-925 Commercial Street, 613 W.
7th Street, and instructing City Clerk to publish notice, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 28, 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Regulated Asbestos -Containing Materials Demolition Services at: 1107 Commercial Street, 919-
925 Commercial Street, 613 W. 7th Street, and instructing City Clerk to publish notice, are
hereby approved.
