ORDINANCE NO. 4435
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1999 TRAFFIC CODE
BY: ADDING SUBSECTIONS (14a) DEWITT ROAD AND
(65a) SOCCER COMPLEX ACCESS TO SECTION 541,
INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND
ADDING SUBSECTION (41a) DEWITT ROAD TO
SECTION 543 , THRU STREETS; AND ADDING
SUBSECTIONS (82a) DEWITT ROAD AND (364a)
SOCCER COMPLEX ACCESS TO SECTION 551, PARKING
PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsections (14a) Dewitt Road and (65a) Soccer Complex
Access, are hereby added to Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits
in Certain Areas, of the 1999 Traffic Code, as follows :
(14a) Dewitt Road - from Ridgeway Avenue to the dead end of
Dewitt Road 25 mph
(65a) Soccer Complex Access - from Dewitt Road to the dead
end of Soccer Complex Access 20 mph
That Subsection (41a) Dewitt Road is hereby added to Section
543 , Thru Streets, of the 1999 Traffic Code, as follows :
(41a) Dewitt Road From Ridgeway Avenue to the dead end of
Dewitt Road
That Subsections (82a) Dewitt Road and (364a) Soccer Complex
Access are hereby added to Section 551, Parking Prohibited At All
Times On Certain Streets, of the 1999 Traffic Code, as follows :
(82a) Dewitt Road Both sides from Ridgeway Avenue to
dead end of Dewitt Road
(364a) Soccer Complex Access Both sides from Dewitt Road to dead
end of Soccer Complex Access

PASSED 1st CONSIDERATION: September 5, 2000
PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: September 11, 2000
PASSED 3rd CONSIDERATION: September 11, 2000
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 11th day of September, 2000 , and approved
by the Mayor on the 13th day of September, 2000 .
