ORDINANCE NO. 4474
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEYS GENERALLY
LOCATED IN BLOCK 7 AND BLOCK 8 OF ROSE HILL
FIRST ADDITION AND ASH STREET BETWEEN SUMNER
STREET AND COTTAGE STREET, IN THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows :
That alley as platted "Rose Hill First Addition" to the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, Block Seven (7) , lying between
Sumner Street and vacated Cottage Street;
and, also
That alley as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, Block Eight (8) , lying
between Sumner Street and Cottage Street;
and, also
Ash Street, as platted in "Rose Hill First Addition" to
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, lying between Sumner Street
and Cottage Street, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated, subject to City' s
retention of permanent easement over, under and above that
alley as platted "Rose Hill First Addition" to the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, Block Seven (7) , lying between Sumner Street
and vacated Cottage Street; and, also that alley as platted
in "Rose Hill First Addition" to the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
Block Eight (8) , lying between Sumner Street and Cottage
Street .

PASSED 2nd CONSIDERATION: May 14, 2001
