ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. THREE
HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE TO SECTION 2A-5, REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 328, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Three Hundred Twenty-
nine (329) .
"329 .
That part of the Northwest Quarter (NW%) of Section
Twenty-three (23) , Township Eight-eight North (T88N) ,
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows :
Beginning at a point on the North line of said
Northwest Quarter (NW1/) which is Two Thousand One
Hundred Thirty-three and Forty-four Hundredths
(2 , 133 . 44) feet East of the Northwest corner of said
Northwest Quarter (NW1/) ; thence South 0°00' 00" East One
Hundred Ninety-one and One Tenth (191 . 10) feet to the
Northeast corner of Parcel E of said Northwest Quarter
(NW%) as shown in Plat of Survey recorded in Misc . Book
323 Page 045, Black Hawk County Recorder' s Office;
thence North 90°00' 00" West Three Hundred Ninety-one
and Five Tenths (391 . 50) feet along the North line of
said Parcel E to the Southeast corner of Land Deed 542-
627, said corner being shown in Plat of Survey as
recorded in Misc . Book 94 page 185, Black Hawk County
Recorder' s Office; thence North along the East line of
said Land Deed 542-627 to the North line of said
Northwest Quarter (NW1/,) ; thence East Three Hundred
Ninety-one and Five Tenths (391 . 50) feet to the point
of beginning, except Orange Road right-of-way, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-3"
Multiple Residence District as above described subject to the
following conditions :
1 . The site plan as submitted, with no access allowed of
East Orange Road.
2 . Screening of the single family home to the west .
3 . Proper drainage to keep water from overflowing on the
adjacent single-family home . "
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby
directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the
Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
