ORDINANCE NO. 4528
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2000 TRAFFIC CODE
BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (46) MARTIN LUTHER
KING JR. DRIVE OF SEC. 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (46) MARTIN LUTHER
KING JR. DRIVE OF SEC. 541, INCREASING SPEED
LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive of Sec .
541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2000
Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new
Subsection (46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive of Sec . 541,
Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 2000 Traffic
Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
(46) Martin Luther King Jr. Drive -
Eastbound:
from Franklin Street to 200 feet
east of S . Barclay Street 30 mph
from 200 feet east of S . Barclay
Street to Linden Avenue 35 mph
from Linden Avenue to N. Elk Run Road 45 mph
Westbound:
from Franklin Street to 200 feet
east of S . Barclay Street 30 mph
from 200 feet east of S . Barclay
Street to Linden Avenue 35 mph
from Linden Avenue to N. Elk Run Road 45 mph
