AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1996 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
ADDING SUBSECTION (89a) LOGAN AVENUE ACCESS
ROAD TO SECTION 543 , THRU STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION (7) FIFTH STREET (W) OF
SECTION 549, LOADING ZONES; AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (7) FIFTH
STREET (W) TO SECTION 549, LOADING ZONES; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION (278) NINTH STREET (W)
OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL
TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (278) NINTH
STREET (W) OF SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION (86) RIEHL STREET OF
SECTION 553, NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER; AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION
(86) RIEHL STREET OF SECTION 553, NO PARKING
HERE TO CORNER; AND
ADDING SUBSECTION (5) RAVENWOOD ROAD TO
SECTION 554, NO PARKING HERE TO DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (89a) Logan Avenue Access Road, of Section 543 ,
Thru Streets, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby added as follows:
(89a) Logan Avenue Access Road From Donald Street to north
end of Access Road except for
stop signs at entrance to
Logan Plaza off of Logan
Avenue
That Subsection (7) Fifth Street (W) of Section 549, Loading
Zones, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection (7) Fifth Street (W) of Section
549, Loading Zones, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof as follows :
(7) Fifth Street (W) Southeast side in 100 and 200
blocks; two zones on the southeast
side in 300 block; southeast side
in the 400 block; northwest side in
the 500 block
That Subsection (278) Ninth Street (W) of Section 551, Parking
Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the 1996 Traffic
Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection
(278) Ninth Street (W) of Section 551, Parking Prohibited at All
Times on Certain Streets, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows :
(278) Ninth Street (W) East side from J & R Drive to Commercial
Street; southeasterly side from
Jefferson to Johnson; both sides from
Washington to Locke
That Subsection (86) Riehl Street of Section 553, No Parking Here
to Corner, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection (86) Riehl Street of Section 553 ,
No Parking Here to Corner, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(86) Riehl Street South side in the 400 block in an easterly
direction from Broadway Street; south side in

the 500 block in a westerly direction from
Broadway Street; south side in the 700 block
in an easterly direction from Ashland
That Subsection (5) Ravenwood Road of Section 554, No Parking Here
to Drive, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby added as follows:
(5) Ravenwood Road East side at cul-de-sac in 1300 block

the Mayor on the 22nd day of January, 1998 .
