ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 79 TO SECTION
2A-7N, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 78, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Seventy-Nine (79) .
"79 .
Unplatted Waterloo West that Part NW FRL 1/ NW FRL % Sec 18T 88 R
13 described as follows : COM at A Pt on N Line said NW Cor said
NW FRL Qtr TH 5 Par with, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1" Agricultural
District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-2" One and Two Family
Residence District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning as above described,
subject to the following conditions :
1. The applicant must meet all applicable commercial building
and parking regulations for the operation of the gun sales
business in the basement .
2 . The applicant must comply with all applicable codes and
regulations regarding the discharge of firearms within the
city limits.
3 . The applicant is restricted to the plans submitted in
terms of the operating area for the gun sales business .
4 . That the number of animals to be raised complies with the
one animal per 10, 000 square feet of property devoted to
such use as in the other residential districts.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black
Hawk County, Iowa.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, on the 20th day of January, 1998, and approved by the Mayor on
the 22nd day of January, 1998 .
