HomeMy WebLinkAbout4276-01/26/1998 ORDINANCE NO. 4276 ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 80 TO SECTION 2A-7N, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: Section 1 . That Section 2A-7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 79, of said Section, the following Subsection No. Eighty (80) . "80 . Northeydale, all lot 16 except highway portion, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa; now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" , One and Two Family Residence District, be and the same is hereby zoned as "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District/"C-Z" , Conditional Zoning as above described, subject to the following conditions : 1 . Commercial building codes are met in regards to the kennel building. 2 . All animals be licensed with the City Clerk' s Office as required. 3 . The Cedar Bend Humane Society is satisfied with animal waste removal . Human Society also will be allowed to inspect the facility on a quarterly basis. 4 . A limit of twenty (20) animals be maintained on the property addressed 343 McKay Avenue . The current number of animals will be acceptable (per Humane Society) , although the replacement of animals will not be allowed until the number of animals is under twenty (20) . 5 . The applicant be capable of obtaining the state kenneling license by August 15, 1998 or six (6) months after the request is finalized, whichever event takes place first . Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
