ORDINANCE NO. 4323
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1996 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
ADDING SUBSECTION (30a) WESTRIDGE DRIVE TO
SECTION 545, YIELD STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION (29) EDWARDS OF SECTION
553, NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER; AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (29) EDWARDS
OF SECTION 553, NO PARKING HERE TO CORNER;
AND
REPEALING SECTION 567, TWO HOUR PARKING; AND
ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 567,
TWO HOUR PARKING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Subsection (30a) Westridge, of Section 545, Yield Streets, of
the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby added as follows:
(30a) Westridge Drive Iverness Road to West Ridgeway Avenue
That Subsection (29) Edwards Street of Section 553, No Parking
Here To Corner, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in
its entirety; that a new Subsection (29) Edwards Street of Section
553, No Parking Here to Corner, of the 1996 Traffic Code, is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
(29) Edwards Street North side in the 400 block in an
easterly direction from Broadway
Street; north side in the 400 block
in a westerly direction from Columbia
Street
That Section 567, Two Hour Parking--Between 8 :00 A.M. and 6 :00
P.M. , of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Section 567, Two Hour Parking--Between 8 :00
A.M. and 6 :00 P.M. , of the 1996 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof as follows:
SEC. 567 . TWO HOUR PARKING--BETWEEN 8 :00 A.M. AND 6 :00 P.M.
When signs are erected in each block, or portion thereof,
giving notice, no person shall park a vehicle for longer than two
hours at any time between the hours of 8 : 00 A.M. and 6 :00 P.M.
except Saturdays and Sundays within the district and upon any of
the streets or portions thereof as named herein:
(1) Acadia Street South side from Grey Street to Kimball
Avenue
(2) Fifth Street W East side in the 1200 block
(3) St. Francis Drive In front of 2705-2717 St. Francis Drive
