ORDINANCE NO. 4396
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, BY REPEALING
SECTION 7-63, PENALTY, CHAPTER 7, ANIMALS AND
FOWL; AND BY ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW
SECTION 7-63, PENALTY, OF CHAPTER 7, ANIMALS
AND FOWL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That Section 7-63, Penalty, of Chapter 7, Animals and Fowl, of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
repealed in its entirety; that a new Section 7-63, Penalty, of
Chapter 7, Animals and Fowl, of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as
follows :
Sec. 7-63 . Penalty.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of
this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a municipal infraction.
The scheduled civil penalty shall be:
First offense: $100 . 00
Second offense: $200 . 00
Subsequent offense: $500 . 00 .
The court may grant any other appropriate alternative
relief.
