ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479 , AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 294 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5 , of Ordinance No. 2479 , as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 293 , of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Ninety-four
( 294 ) .
"294 .
That part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 4 ) of Section Fourteen
( 14 ) , Township Eighty-nine North (T89N) , Range Thirteen West
(R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
The East Ten ( 10) rods of the West Sixteen ( 16) rods of the
South Twenty-four ( 24 ) rods of the Southwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW a NE a SW 4 ) of
said Section Fourteen ( 14 ) , except highways and also excepting
the South One Hundred Thirty-three ( 133 . 00) feet of the East
Eighty ( 80 . 00) feet thereof , containing 1. 19 acres, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Also known as Parcel B of Plat of Survey filed in the office
of the Black Hawk County Recorder in Miscellaneous Book 317 at
page 19 on August 14 , 1995 .
and also;
The West Eighty (80 ) feet of Lot No. 8 and all Lots Nos. Seven
(7 ) , Nine ( 9 ) , Ten ( 10 ) , Eleven ( 11 ) and Twelve ( 12) , all in
Block No. Five ( 5) in "Rosebud Addition" , all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and also;
That part of Edison Street between Ashland Avenue and the
alley East of Lot 12 , Block 5 , "Rosebud Addition" , all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and also;
The West Six ( 6 ) rods of the South Twenty-four ( 24) rods of
the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter onship No.of h
SSouthwest Quarter of Section No. Fourteen ( 14) ,
Eighty-nine ( 89) North, Range No. Thirteen ( 13 ) West of the
Fifth ( 5th) Principal Meridian, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and also;
That part of Ashland Avenue between West Parker Street and
Brees Street, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District be and the same is hereby zoned as "M-1"
Light Industrial District, subject to the following conditions :
1 . Open space to remain open space.
2 . No building additions unless reviewed by the Planning,
Programming and Zoning Commission.
3 . Must construct solid wood fence along perimeter of Lot 1.

Section 2 . That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
