AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE PLATTED STREET
RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN AS DUNHAM PLACE, SOUTHERLY
OF WATER STREET AND WEST OF NEVADA STREET IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the following platted street right-of-way:
A triangular strip of ground described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of the westerly line of Dunham Place
extended with the southerly line of the right-of-way of the
Dubuque & Sioux City R.R. ; thence south along the westerly
line of Dunham Place extended south, to its intersection with
the River Front Line; thence northwesterly along the River
Front Line to a point that would be 50 feet from the last
described course if measured at right angles; thence
northeasterly to the place of beginning, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and also;
A triangular part of Lot 11 , Auditor Rainbow' s Consolidated
Plat, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of
the westerly line of Dunham Place, extended with the southerly
line of the right-of-way of the Dubuque & Sioux City R.R. ,
thence south along the westerly line of Dunham Place extended
south, to its intersection with the River Front Line; thence
northeasterly to a point on the southerly line of the right-
of-way of the Dubuque & Sioux City R.R. that is the
intersection of the easterly line of Dunham Place extended
south; thence northwesterly along the right-of-way of the
Dubuque & Sioux City R.R. to the place of beginning, all in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
