AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1993 CODE OF
ORDINANCES BY REPEALING SUBSECTION (c) OF
SECTION 31-11 , APPLICATION FOR LICENSE BY
ALARM BUSINESS, OF ARTICLE II , LICENSING, OF
CHAPTER 32 , ALARM SYSTEMS; AND ENACTING IN
LIEU THEREOF A NEW SUBSECTION (c) OF SECTION
31-11, APPLICATION FOR LICENSE BY ALARM
BUSINESS, OF ARTICLE II , LICENSING, OF CHAPTER
31 , ALARM SYSTEMS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
that:
That Subsection (c) of Section 32-11 , Application for License by
Alarm Business, of Article II , Licensing, of Chapter 32 , Alarm
Systems, of the 1993 Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection (c)
of Section 31-11, Application for License by Alarm Business, of
Article II , Licensing, of Chapter 32 , Alarm Systems, of the 1993
Code of Ordinances of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof as follows:
ARTICLE II . LICENSING
Sec. 32-11 . Application for license by alarm business.
(c) Applicants already doing business in the city on the
effective date of this chapter may continue to do business while
their license applications are being processed.

PASSED 2ND CONSIDERATION: January 16 , 1996
PASSED 3RD CONSIDERATION: January 16, 1996
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 16th day of January, 1996, and approved by
the Mayor on the 18th day of January, 1996.
