ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 71 TO
SECTION 2A-7N, CONDITIONAL REZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-7N, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 70, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Seventy-one (71) .
"71 .
Lot 79 in First Addition to Columbus Heights and easements as
filed in the Black Hawk County Recorder' s Office in Easement
Book 285 , Page 826, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District be and the same is hereby zoned as "C-Z"
Conditional Zoning as above described, subject to the following
conditions:
1 . The beauty shop will be a one ( 1) chair shop with no more
than one ( 1) operator.
2. The shop shall not be open more than three ( 3 ) days per
week for a total of no more than twenty ( 20) hours per
week by appointment only.
3 . The shop shall not be open after 9 : 00 p.m.
4. The portion of the duplex to be converted into a beauty
shop shall meet all applicable requirements of the
commercial building code.
5. The adjoining property owner ' s easement of access to
Randolph Street shall not be obstructed. "
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
