AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 21 ) FALLS AVENUE OF
SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A
NEW SUBSECTION ( 21) FALLS AVENUE OF SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS;
AND
BY REPEALING SUBSECTIONS ( 11) BISMARK STREET
AND ( 42) FALLS AVENUE OF SECTION 543, THRU
STREETS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW
SUBSECTIONS ( 11) BISMARK STREET AND ( 42) FALLS
AVENUE OF SECTION 543, THRU STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection ( 21) Falls Avenue of Section 541, Increasing Speed
Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby
repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection ( 21) Falls Avenue
of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 21) Falls Avenue -
from Duryea Street to Fletcher Avenue 30 mph
from Fletcher Avenue to University Avenue 25 mph
That Subsections ( 11) Bismark Street and ( 42) Falls Avenue of
Section 543 , Thru Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code, are hereby
repealed in their entirety; that new Subsections ( 11) Bismark
Street and ( 42) Falls Avenue of Section 543, Thru Streets, of the
1991 Traffic Code, are hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 11) Bismark Street Cleveland Street to Ansborough Avenue
except for four-way stop at Magnolia
( 42) Falls Avenue University Avenue to University Avenue
except for traffic signals at Cleveland
Street, Ansborough Avenue and Stephan
Street, and a four-way stop at Magnolia
