ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 295 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1 . That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 294, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. Two Hundred Ninety-five
( 295) .
"295.
A parcel of land located in the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of Section 12-
89-13 , Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the SW 1/4, SW 1/4 of
said Section 12; thence N 00°00 ' 00" W along the East Line of
said SW 1/4, SW 1/4 a distance of 33 .00 feet to the Northerly
R-O-W line of East Donald Street as now established; thence N
89°00' 51" W along said Northerly R-O-W line a distance of
33 . 00 feet to the point of beginning; thence N 89°00' 51" W
along said Northerly R-O-W line a distance of 445.61 feet;
thence N 00°06 ' 00" E a distance of 200.01 feet; thence S
89°00' 51" E a distance of 445. 26 feet to the Westerly R-O-W
line of East Fourth Street; thence S 00°00 ' 00" E along said R-
O-W line a distance of 200.02 feet to the point of beginning,
containing approximately 2.045 acres, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The Northerly R-O-W line of East Donald Street is assumed to
bear N 89°00' 51" W,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "R-2" One and Two
Family Residence District to "R-4" Multiple Family Residence
District, subject to the following condition:
1. No multi-family residences on the site,
2. One ( 1) additional access to E. Donald Street and one (1)
access to E. Fourth Street;
as above described. "
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
