AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE
BY:
ADDING NEW SUBSECTIONS (78a) LOUISE STREET
AND ( 138a) WEBSTER STREET TO SECTION 543,
THRU STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 16) LOUISE STREET (E)
OF SECTION 545, YIELD STREETS; AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SUBSECTION ( 16) LOUISE
STREET (E) OF SECTION 545, YIELD STREETS; AND
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 316) RHEY STREET OF
SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES
ON CERTAIN STREETS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU
THERE OF NEW SUBSECTION ( 316) RHEY STREET OF
SECTION 551, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES
ON CERTAIN STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That new Subsections (78a) Louise Street and ( 138a) Webster
Street are hereby added to Section 543 , Thru Streets, of the 1991
Traffic Code, as follows:
(78a) Louise Street From Sherman Avenue to Logan Avenue
( 138a) Webster Street From Wendell Court to East 4th Street
That Subsection ( 16) Louise Street (E) of Section 545, Yield
Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code is hereby repealed in its
entirety; that a new Subsection ( 16) Louise Street (E) of Section
545, Yield Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code is hereby enacted in
lieu thereof as follows:
( 16) Louise St. (E) East Fourth Street to Logan Avenue,
except for stop signs on Hope Street
That Subsection ( 316) Rhey Street of Section 551, Parking
Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, of the 1991 Traffic
Code, is hereby repealed in its entirety; that new Subsection
( 316) Rhey Street of Section 551, Parking Prohibited at All Times
on Certain Streets, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted
in lieu thereof as follows:
( 316) Rhey Street West side from Lafayette Street to dead
end in 600 block

PASSED 3RD CONSIDERATION: August 19, 1996
