ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2479, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING SUBSECTION NO. 299 TO
SECTION 2A-5, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That Section 2A-5, of Ordinance No. 2479, as
amended, be further amended by adding after Subsection No. 298, of
said Section, the following Subsection No. 299 (Two Hundred Ninety-
Nine) .
"299
Unplatted Waterloo East, part of Section 4 , Township 89, Range
13, beginning at the intersection of the Northerly right-of-
way line West of Airline Highway and Westerly right-of-way
line of Wagner Road; thence North 600 feet; thence West 3300
feet; thence South to the Northerly right-of-way line of the
Illinois Central Gulf Railroad; thence Southeasterly along the
Northerly line of the Railroad right-of-way to the Northerly
right-of-way line of West Airline Highway; thence Easterly
along said right-of-way line to the point of beginning;
and also,
That part of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 4, Township 89, Range 13, lying South of the Illinois
Central Railroad, except the Westerly 875 feet;
and also,
That part of Section 4, Township 89, Range 13, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the North right-of-way of the Chicago
Central and Pacific Railroad Company that is sixty feet ( 60' )
East of the centerline of the access road to Airport; thence
North Four Hundred feet ( 400 ' ) ; thence East Five Hundred feet
( 500' ) ; thence South to the North railroad right-of-way;
thence West along the north Railroad right-of-way to the point
of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa,
now zoned on the Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, as "A-1"
Agricultural District and "M-1" Light Industrial District be and
the same is hereby zoned as "M-2,P" Planned Industrial District, as
above described."
Section 2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Recorder of
Black Hawk County, Iowa.
