AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 29) HAMMOND AVENUE OF
SECTION 541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A
NEW SUBSECTION ( 29) HAMMOND AVENUE OF SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection ( 29) Hammond Avenue of Section 541, Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby
repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection ( 29) Hammond Avenue
of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 29) Hammond Avenue -
from the southerly corporate limits to
San Marnan Drive 35 mph
from San Marnan Drive to South Street 30 mph

PASSED 3RD CONSIDERATION: October 21, 1996
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of

the Mayor on the 23rd day of October, 1996.
