AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1991 TRAFFIC CODE BY
REPEALING SUBSECTION ( 29) HAMMOND AVENUE OF
SECTION 541 , INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN
CERTAIN AREAS; AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A
NEW SUBSECTION ( 29) HAMMOND AVENUE TO SECTION
541, INCREASING SPEED LIMITS IN CERTAIN AREAS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That Subsection ( 29) Hammond Avenue of Section 541, Increasing
Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the 1991 Traffic Code, is hereby
repealed in its entirety; that a new Subsection ( 29) Hammond Avenue
of Section 541, Increasing Speed Limits in Certain Areas, of the
1991 Traffic Code, is hereby enacted in lieu thereof as follows:
( 29) Hammond Avenue -
from the southerly corporate limits to
San Marnan Drive 35 mph
from San Marnan Drive to South Street 30 mph

PASSED 1ST CONSIDERATION: January 21, 1997
PASSED 2ND CONSIDERATION: January 21, 1997
PASSED 3RD CONSIDERATION: January 21, 1997
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, on the 21st day of January, 1997, and approved by
the Mayor on the 23rd day of January, 1997.
