AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF SIDEWALK
GENERALLY LYING EAST OF 224 COMMERCIAL STREET
IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
as follows:
That portion of vacated West Second Street in the Original
Plat, on the West side of the Cedar River, in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the most Easterly corner of Lot 1, Block 4 in
said Original Plat; thence S 45°00 ' 00" W along the
Northwesterly right-of-way line of West Second Street a
distance of 59 . 00 feet to the point of beginning; thence S
45°00 ' 00" E a distance of 5 . 00 feet; thence S 45°00 ' 00" W a
distance of 10 . 00 feet; thence N 45°00 ' 00" W a distance of
5 . 00 feet to said Northwesterly right-of-way line; thence N
45°00 ' 00" E along said Northwesterly right-of-way line a
distance of 10 . 00 feet to the point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The Northwesterly right-of-way line of West Second Street is
assumed to bear S 45°00 ' 00" W;
shall be, and the same is hereby vacated.
